The JRDDS-D173PRO-01 is an upgraded version of the JRDDS-D173P-01 and JRDDS-D173P-13, compatible with Molex MINI-FIT 4.2 and 5557 series male and female terminals. It introduces the following improvements over the DDS P series:

1. Spring-Forward Push Rod: The push rod stays retracted until actuation, eliminating pre-load pressure on terminals and housing during insertion and reducing the risk of latch damage and contact fold-back.
2. One-Piece Aluminum Alloy Construction: The press cap and push rod are machined as a single unit with a thread-locked mounting seat, replacing the adhesive assembly of the DDS P series for improved structural reliability and tool-free tip or push rod replacement.
