Spring-Forward Design Keeps Push Rod Retracted
The JRDDS-HY2.0PRO-01 uses a spring-forward structure that holds the push rod in a fully retracted position until the tip makes contact with the terminal. This eliminates the pre-loading pressure that conventional push-rod tools apply before insertion, directly preventing the retaining latch from being forced into soft plastic housings prematurely. The result is cleaner latch release, reduced housing wear, and more reliable extraction across repeated operations.

Zero Pre-Load Force on Small-Pitch Terminals
On small-pitch terminals such as JST HY2.0 and SM2.54 series, even modest pre-load force is enough to cause the terminal to fold back inside the cavity, breaking the extraction sequence before the latch releases. By keeping the push rod retracted until the tip is properly seated, the tool eliminates that force entirely at the critical insertion stage, allowing the single-pin tip to engage the latch cleanly without deflecting or deforming the contact.

Unobstructed Tip Entry into Pin Cavities
With the push rod retracted during insertion, the tip enters the terminal slot without any forward obstruction from the rod itself. This makes it significantly easier to align the tool in dense multi-pin housings or connectors mounted in confined spaces, reducing misalignment errors and the risk of scratching adjacent terminals during extraction.

One-Piece Aluminum Build, No Adhesive Assembly
The press cap and push rod are formed as a single aluminum alloy component, eliminating adhesive bonding from the assembly process. The rear nut and mounting seat are secured by direct thread-locking, and the mounting seat is fully user-removable for independent push rod or tip replacement without any special tools.

Compatible with JST, Molex, and Common RC Connectors
Built for electronics assembly, RC wiring, and small-connector repair, the JRDDS-HY2.0PRO-01 supports JST HY2.0, SM2.54, SYP, Molex KK, and small 4P 2510/2540 series male and female terminals — connector families widely used in battery leads, servo wiring, sensor connections, and low-voltage signal circuits. The interchangeable tip system supports both production bench use and hands-on repair work.
