FLAT END AND HOOK END IN A SINGLE TOOL
The DRK-RT1 combines two distinct tip profiles in one instrument — a flat end and a hook end positioned at opposite ends of the tool, with a centrally located injection-molded grip. At 185mm overall length, both primary connector disassembly functions are immediately accessible without switching tools, streamlining the workflow when working through multi-step connector removal procedures.

TWO ENDS, TWO DISTINCT FUNCTIONS
The flat end is used to press open the connector locking tab, releasing the secondary lock mechanism to free the terminal for removal. The hook end engages and pulls out the connector retaining clip, allowing the housing to be separated from its mating connector. Together these two operations cover the complete disassembly sequence for Deutsch-series connectors, with each tip geometry matched to the specific force direction and contact point required for each step.

STAINLESS STEEL TIPS WITH FULL GROUND ANTI-RUST FINISH
Both the flat and hook tips are formed from stainless steel with a full ground surface treatment across the entire tip length, providing corrosion resistance in the moisture and chemical exposure common in automotive engine bay environments. The ground finish also removes surface irregularities that could catch on connector housing edges during insertion, allowing smooth controlled entry into tight connector positions.
